How Come U.s. Files Discrimination Lawsuits On Behalf Of Muslims?

The Obama Administration’s taxpayer-funded Islamic defense program has been quite busy this week, filing several discrimination lawsuits on behalf of Muslims in different parts of the country and holding Justice Department meetings to discuss prosecuting “anti-Muslim hate speech.”
The legal actions come on the same week that the White House and various federal agencies—including the Department of Homeland Security—hosted a special workshop to provide members of radical Islamic groups with direct access to U.S. government funding, assistance and resources. Read all about that here.
Now the administration is flexing its legal muscle in its ardent quest to befriend the enemy. A federal civil rights agency known as the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has filed discrimination lawsuits against companies in Nebraska, California and Colorado for discriminating against Muslims by not accommodating prayer breaks and forbidding a headscarf on the job.
The government sued meatpacking plants in Greeley Colorado and Grand Island Nebraska for religious and racial harassment because dozens of Muslim employees were “denied prayer time” during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The lawsuit seeks changes to policies and procedures to accommodate Muslim workers, payment for past and future damages and punitive damages.
In a third lawsuit filed this week the EEOC claims that an outdoor apparel store discriminated against a Muslim female job applicant in northern California because she wore a headscarf known as a hijab. The company has a longstanding employee dress code banning any sort of head covering but the government asserts that in this particular case it’s discriminating on the basis of religion.
Also this week, the Justice Department met with a coalition of Islamic groups that demand the administration criminally prosecute anti-Muslim rhetoric as hate speech. Besides investing more resources to combat discrimination against Muslims, coalition leaders want Attorney General Eric Holder to “make a strong public statement” condemning hate crimes, harassment and discrimination against Muslims.http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2010/s…

How To Install Norton 2010?

Every time I try to install Norton Internet Security 2010 it finished with the message:
“A problem has occurred that needs your attention.
This process is unable to continue because a previous Norton or Symantec product has been detected and cannot be removed. Please restart your computer and try installing again.”
Well, there is no other Norton programme on my computer and restarting doesn’t help. Thanks to Norton, I now have at least three incredibly annoying viruses on my computer (Security Suite, Antimalware Doctor and Security Tool.) Does anyone have any advice on how to get Norton installed? I’ve checked their website and there doesn’t appear to be any pertinent information.

Immigration Decreasing But Alabama Bucks Trend With More Illegal Immigrants?

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — A national study estimates the number of illegal immigrants living in Alabama increased 30 percent in 2009, while the number nationwide dropped a little more than 4 percent.
The study by the Pew Hispanic Center estimates the number of illegal immigrants in Alabama increased from about 100,000 in 2008 to 130,000 in 2009. The report said illegal immigrants account for about 2.8 percent of the state’s population and 5.1 percent of the state’s work force.
Nationally, an estimated 11.1 million illegal immigrants make up 3.7 percent of the population and 5.1 percent of the work force.
The Pew Center’s numbers show a dramatic growth in illegal immigrants in Alabama from 5,000 in 1990 to 25,000 in 2000 and 60,000 in 2005.
The study speculated that nationwide decline may have been caused, in part, by the recession providing fewer jobs and the federal government tightening border security.
Raymond Mohl, a University of Alabama at Birmingham history professor who has studied immigration trends, said legal immigrants have come to Alabama for jobs and then word about the state has spread to their families and friends in central and South America.
“There was a chain migration,” he told The Birmingham News.
He said illegal immigrants in Alabama may not be returning home out of fear of not being able to re-enter the country because of the crackdown on illegal immigration.
The executive director of the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama, Isabel Rubio, said she expects much more accurate numbers from the 2010 census.http://www2.oanow.com/news/2010/sep/02/a…

Can Anyone Help Me Out? I’m Having Serious Internet Problems! Quest, Anyone Got A Clue?

Alright, so I have Quest for my internet modem. We recently got this one, I’d say maybe 5 months back or so. It used to run at great speeds, but lately, it takes a good minute or two to load a simple page, about 5 minutes to load one 30 second video, and it just lacks the usual speed it used to have.
I have tried ALL of the following –
Disk Defragment
Disk Clean-up
Internet history deletion
Recycle Bin cleared
Scanned for viruses
Scanned for spyware
Scaned for malware
Checked wires, internet lines, and switched ethernets
Website scanning
Security settings
Firewall status
Updates
I’m really not sure why it’s doing this. I stay off all of the potentially ‘bad’ websites. I do use youtube, facebook and deviantart a lot. I just want to get this resolved.
Any answers will be great, thank you so much for reading! :)

Do You See A Problem With This N.c. Hispanic Pastor Facing Possible Deportation Over Old Crime?

ATLANTA (ABP) — A Hispanic North Carolina pastor is scheduled to have a bond hearing in Atlanta Sept. 2 in the first stage of deportation proceedings against him — the consequence of a 15-year-old crime he committed before accepting Christ.
Leaders of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina have been soliciting urgent prayer for Hector Villanueva, pastor of a Spanish-speaking church in Siler City, N.C. He was arrested Aug. 19 by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and taken to Gainesville, Ga., to be held.
Villanueva, 40, has lived in the United States since he was 3. He is a legal resident with a green card and Social Security card. He and his wife, Martha, a U.S. citizen, have four children and are in the process of adopting two foster children.
Martha Villanueva told an Associated Baptist Press reporter Sept. 1 that her husband has a North Carolina attorney who specializes in immigration, Jorgelina Araneda, advocating for him. She said she was en route to Atlanta for the hearing, hoping that her husband can get out on bond so they can contest his deportation.
“I just know that my husband has not done anything illegal anytime recently,” she said. “This is a very old case that they brought up and I know that he’s a different person than he was then; he’s changed and I just — I just don’t know what else to say. I just want him home; he’s needed here.”
Martha Villanueva told the Raleigh, N.C., News & Observer a lawyer alerted her husband several months ago that his green card might be in jeopardy because of a “commercial burglary” conviction in the mid-1990s.
He was homeless at the time and apparently tried to cash a check that wasn’t his. He became a practicing Christian while in jail and dedicated his life to the ministry. Martha Villanueva admitted that in his former life her husband did some things of which he is not proud.
After moving from California four years ago, Villanueva helped North Carolina CBF Hispanic Leader Coach Javier Benitez start Iglesia Bautista la Roca in Raleigh, one of a dozen congregations that form the state organization’s Hispanic Network. He recently started a new church in Siler City.
His conviction surfaced in a background check after he applied for U.S. citizenship. Under current immigration law, any non-citizen convicted of an “aggravated felony” faces deportation, whether or not they have served their sentence. http://www.abpnews.com/content/view/5663…

Quitting My Job After About 1 Month, Need Advice?

ok long story short, i put in several apps for jobs, one hired me that I been at doing security at hardrock hotel. Its 11.50 an hour but I hate the graveyard shift. Its easy, and I feel like crap quitting after such a short amount of time. Other place called me to drive a school bus for headstart/kindegarten, its 15.35 an hr, but I would only get 60 hrs a week, so It would amount to the same pay. How Do You Get Credit Report Online?

Ok, I’m trying to get my annual credit report, because I want to start building my credit but I want to find out if I have any problems first before I apply for a credit card, so I can fix the problem if they arise, but when I go to the website, and I fill out all the applications it says, they can’t provide me my report online therefore I need to send my i.d paystubs and copy of my social security card through mail, and I have a paranoia of sending that information through the mail as it might get lost or stolen then I’m basically ******, so is it normal for the system to denie me a report online if I have no credit history, and never applied for a credit card before?
