Can I Have My Firewall Off But Still Have Internet Security Software And Still Be Well Protected?

Turn off the Windows firewall only if the Security software requires it. The better programs will turn it off during installation if it is required with out your input. Running without any firewall is not considered well protected. Opening a port is better than turning off the firewall.

Is Microsoft Security Essentials, avast!, COMODO Firewall Free, Threatfire, SUPERantispyware free, Malwarebytes free and Iobit Malware Fighter free a good combo??? Or should I delete Microsoft Security Essentials and get AVG instead???
