    Use the security.
    =
    Regular updates && scans.

    I have 3 firewalls [comodo/router [linksys BEFSX41]/Netopia 3347]. NO CONFLICT.

  2. Fremen Says

With the free versions of you spyware software you are missing out on real time detection (scan often on your own) but for the most you should be fairly protected.
The router firewall is independent of the Comodo and will not conflict with each other.

  3. Log Says

    this all is not necessary
all the softwares may have conflicts with each other…
just use kaspersky internet security 2011
and then download its trial reset it will reset trial of 30 days
    no need to install again…
it is the best 4 all the stuff

Very good!! And Avast is ideal with it’s constant updates.
Comodo and the router firewall agree and there’s no conflict, it’s ok.
Consider installing Spybot and running it once a week. But you’ve got Malwarebytes that you run occasionally – so you’re ok….but Spybot might be a good addition. But you don’t want to overload with too much. Good job!
Just for fun and education, look at http://www.google.com and type in the word malware. You might want to think twice about installing any Norton.

  5. The Vampire Muffin Man Says

You’re perfectly fine with what you have.
Don’t listen to the tools that feel the need to rent security software when there are perfectly fine freeware alternatives.
    avast! is a great anti-virus…
SuperAntiSpyware is a great anti-spyware (which in the free version *does* offer real-time protection).
MalwareBytes is the best free anti-malware.
Considering your router’s built-in firewall, you don’t really need more than the Windows firewall, but Comodo is good.
Site Adviser is never a bad idea…
