How Do I Make Linksys Ignore Ip?

By Networking Security Posted in: ip security

so i’ve been having trouble with linksys BEFSR41v4 on the ps3, it goes to strict and limits the users that can connect to me, so im wondering how can i make it ignore the ip in general, i made the static ip 192.168.1.8 how so might i make that ip not protecteD? or if theres no way, is there a way to make it in general not care about the connections connecting to me? i went to security and unchecked Block Anonymous Internet Requests , Filter Multicast , Filter Internet NAT Redirection, im assuming its something on VPN Passthrough or Filter, anyone know?

You can put your PS3′s ip address in the DMZ section of the Linksys.

  2. Anonymou Says

Blacklist the ip… Log into your router – open your internet client and type: 192.168.1.1:80 – type in ur username and password – go into the security section and look for an IP address block section, put in the ps3′s ip.
^^ This is following the advice of the “cisco certified” professional above….
