You might also want to consider IT, which in the Navy means a lot more than it does in the civilian world. ITs are responsible for secure communications and work hand-in-hand with CTs, they even attend the same school in Pensacola.
MA – Master at Arms, can be interesting, might not be. Slow in advancement as it is becoming overmanned. Will not be on a ship, but shore location anywhere necessary. can have long hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
