How To Install Norton 2010?

By Networking Security Posted in: Security Products

Every time I try to install Norton Internet Security 2010 it finished with the message:
“A problem has occurred that needs your attention.
This process is unable to continue because a previous Norton or Symantec product has been detected and cannot be removed. Please restart your computer and try installing again.”
Well, there is no other Norton programme on my computer and restarting doesn’t help. Thanks to Norton, I now have at least three incredibly annoying viruses on my computer (Security Suite, Antimalware Doctor and Security Tool.) Does anyone have any advice on how to get Norton installed? I’ve checked their website and there doesn’t appear to be any pertinent information.

    It seems happened to me.
I use Regtool and successful remove it.http://www.keep-pc-clean.com/
after launching, you can click PRO manager tab.

What is blocking the installation of Norton are the viruses. They stop the operating and installation of anti virus software to knock you off course and make it seem like you have adequate protection with the malware anti virus.
You will need to remove the viruses. They can cause other things to happen to your system, such as blocking task manager and preventing safe mode from operating correctly. However, the most devastating part of the virus is the fact it can track your internet browsing and steal your private data. This makes it essential you remove the viruses fully.
The best way to do this would be to use anti malware software. This type of software differs from anti virus as it has been designed specifically to remove the type of infections that you have. The most popular of these is MalwareBytes.

Anti-virus programs do not play nice with each other. I would remove the other ones and try installing again.

You need to get rid of the other viruses first.
IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO USE THE INTERNET OR RUN PROGRAMS START IN SAFE MODE.
Download. Rkill, malwarebytes and superantispyware (update, then run a quick scan with mbam and SAS)
    RUN IN THIS ORDER.
    Rkill http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t…
    Malwarebytes http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-An…
    Superantispyware http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpywar…
Lastly do a scan with hitman pro. http://download.cnet.com/Hitman-Pro-3/30… (scans with 6 av’s nod, prevx, avast, bit defender, ikarus and emsisoft)
    Still having problems?
    Then try http://www.softpedia.com/get/Antivirus/K…
    Can’t install or run Malwarebytes
Rename the mbam-setup.exe if installation fails.
Rename the mbam.exe if the program installs but does not run.
Start in SAFE-MODE with Networking if program fails to install run or update.(Hit F8 key repeatedly when computer is starting after a reboot)
