Also… Is there a way to get them to record via computer? Or to have them plug into a computer monitor?
Right now its just 2 aeperate cameras from harbor freight. I want them to be more like the dvr system where multiple cameras can be seen and they record. Is any of that possible? Or should I just take these back?

If you are willing to tinker, and have good software – then you can use some different capture devices;
a RCA-to-USB capture device like this (link 1) Diamond multimedia/ Amazon
.. or specialized converter boxes, PC installed cards, or multiplexers (link 2) Sabrent
If you want simple, or if you want quality – then look for a packaged solution. Cheap cameras are rarely easy to wire up and get usable, reliable video. Don’t skimp on the software, and make sure you get a fast computer with a big, fast hard disk because video capture can result in some huge files.
