Is It Bigoted For Liberals To Believe That Muslims Can’t Be Held Accountable For Their Own Actions?

… just because they consider them a different, foreign culture and therefore “less sophisticated”.
I mean I know Islam isn’t a race but that kind of smug patronization sure reeks of racism. Islam is a belief system, like communism (actually closer to Nazism because Sharia is a fascist political system, most people don’t understand that because they don’t have the foggiest clue what fascism actually entails), it’s not a culture or a race.
ANYONE can be Muslim. Like for instance I keep hearing both libs and Islamic supremacists (two peas in a pod) say that Muslims are being wrongly accused of terrorism all over the United States.
Well, I googled it and one article came up. It was a guy named Brandon Mayfield, a pasty white religious fundamentalist (the religion just happened to be Islam) and he was accused because his fingerprints were a match for fingerprints found on a suitcase used in the 2004 Madrid train bombings. I think that’s a pretty good reason to investigate somebody.
Be honest libs. If these were Christians trying to kill us all you’d have no problem installing security cameras in every pew in the western hemisphere, but since you think Islam is all “darling harmless brown people” (“Oh look at them dear, aren’t they just adorable, we should take one home to play with the children. I think they’re getting bored with their Japanese”) then you get your batty panties in a twist if the government even tries to COUNT the number of mosques in this country.http://www.nytimes.com/2003/01/28/politi…
SO when did liberals all turn into ignorant racist bigots?
Speaking of which when did it become “okay” for liberals to out-right hate jews?
I am a liberal (and an atheist) myself and I know what liberalism REALLY stands for and that’s EQUALITY which means treating EVERYBODY EQUALLY, NOT DOUBLE STANDARDS. I REFUSE to sit back while my party gets hijacked by a bunch of insane extremist anti-western activists who only seek some kind of misplaced revenge against Christianity, America and the west.

Yes, the liberal doctrine of moral relativism is based on bigotry, condescension and patronization. If they truly respected members of other cultures, they would treat them as equals and hold them accountable for their actions. Making excuses for them is treating them like children. When you don’t respect people enough to believe that they actually know right from wrong and choose their own course of action, you dehumanize them. I’m glad you see the truth of this.
It is like justifying a Nazi concentration camp or a KKK lynch mob by saying that is just their culture and they have a different set of beliefs. It doesn’t matter if everyone around them does the same thing and thinks it is right. It is still wrong.

No. It is bigoted for people to believe all Muslims must be held accountable for a few Muslims’ actions. As liberals, radicalized Christians do try to kill us from time to time, but we still don’t call for security cameras in every pew.

  3. Panache Says

Very little of what “liberals” in this country stand for can be confused with “equality.”

3 out of 4 domestic terror attacks in American are committed by right wingers, but don’t let the facts get in the way of your racist rant.

thank you for taking a stand against your own political party.

  7. God is dead Long live the King Says

It’s bigoted for you to blame the actions of a few on the entire Muslim population.

Only if your premises were true could your conclusion be supported.

  9. Growth vs Oil Says

I think it is best for the youth to live without being in ether of their gangs Christian or Muslim.

If I had the foggiest notion of what you where talking about I’d be happy to answer the question.

  11. CROM- Says

    Depends on where they are.
Technically speaking the islams in the middle-east aren’t in our jurisdiction and we need international support to legally try them in court if they do anything we don’t like.
You americans have so much difficulty understanding the concept of different territories outside of your own country.

You are a rare breed and should be proud. I am a conservative independent (on the fence) and it’s so rare to see anyone in politics asking these kind of questions on that side of the yard.
Yes, it is. It’s also ignorant to ignore the crimes against humanity here that are going on, now. How many honor killings have made the news? Implementing Sharia law here?
Yes, if it were Christians, I’m pretty sure a good number would have the torches and pitchforks ready while preparing the gallows.
I honestly have no answer, I’ve wondered this myself. It is a double-standard and attacking Christians does not make the questions on radical Muslim practices go away or exempt them from the need of answers. It does not justify radical behavior to cite 1 or 2 fringe nuts in the past 10 years, that have killed 1 or 2 in total, when the radicals have killed thousands of our own people in the past 10 years and continue to wage war against our nation.
It is racist, elitist and condescending.

  13. Thomas R Says

A terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist. Doesn’t matter to me what they believe or why, if they are attempting to undermine the foundations of our nation through force then they deserve to die.
They can be white, brown, blue, red, straight, gay, transgendered, Christian, atheist, Muslim, Zoroastrian, who cares?
