Is It True That Brinks Home Security Is Totally Ineffective As An Alarm System?

By Networking Security Posted in: security systems

I heard that Brinks’ monitoring is slow when an alarm goes off and that the commercials are fake.
I’m not sure which category questions about security systems go.

There are probably a half dozen or so companies that give you the security system for FREE and all you do is pay for the monitoring each month which can range from $29 – $50 per month or higher if you add specialty products….
Look in your local phone book yellow pages and call 2 or 3 for a FREE security quote for your home and then look at each package and determine what is best for your situation..
Keep in mind even though the System is FREE there is a one-time charge for installation of the Hardware….read the fine print……………….

Any alarm system is only a deterrent to crime and not a crime solution. They are a monitoring service that gives you warning and not complete protection. What would you have without any monitoring? The service gives you a way to know exactly when something happened and how and possibly who. Without anything like this it’s old fashioned detective work to figure out what happened. The neighbors may or may not have been. It’s up to the individual to decide whether or not its worth as a service is valuable to this end. No one can tell you.
