Is This Discrimination? I Wanted To Buy A Product On-line And They Refused To Sell To Me Because I Don’t?

use credit cards? I offered to pay with a money order or bank draft with several security features, but they still refused to sell me their product.

    They can do that if they want to.
    Why don’t you buy a “prepaid credit card” in the amount of the item, use it, and then cut it up and throw it away?

    Look up the word “discrimination” in a dictionary. It simply means decision-making. If you are trying to ask if there is some law that requires all businesses to to accept money orders or bank drafts, there is not.,

    That’s up to them. Nobody has to take any form of payment unless they choose to.
    Nor do they legally have to sell to you at all.

    they can require whatever they want, if they want a credit card, that’s their requirement.

    NO, this is NOT discrimination. This is just their way of doing business…plus, most of these places do NOT want you to know where they really are located.

    People who don’t use credit cards are not a protected class. Merchants are free to discriminate against you.
