Mac Security. Netstat Command?

By Networking Security Posted in: ip security

When I run the netstat command in terminal it is showing 2 active Internet connections. 1. Local address (my IP address)
2. Foreign address (which I don’t recognize)
I ran this command because of a security concern but don’t understand what this means……what could the foreign address be? Is it normal to show this? Or Is someone else accessing my computer? And if so what can i do?
I really don’t have much understanding of the technicalities of macs so any advice would be much appreciated
Thanks

If you do not where belong specific IP address then you can investigate it by yourself.
    Go to IP tracker’s:http://www.ip-address.orghttp://www.ipaddresslocation.orghttp://www.find-ip-address.org
and simple check out any IP address for more information’s.
    Good luck!
