My internet is very fast, I can download at 567 kbps or even more (more than 1mb at times), but these past two days has been dramatically slow.
I have my JDownloader set to an average of 300kbps, and it reaches 308 and stays there. My tubecatcher reaches 600 kbps or even faster sometimes. However, these past two days the Jdownloader and the browser’s downloader are usually at 9kbps (wtf!!!!!) the jdownloader reaching its usual speed only on one of my 5 downloads from yesterday, and the highest speed the tubecatcher got was 167kbps (as far as i remember). I have my router‘s network monitorized by mcafee, and it didnt mark any other devices plus my router had a tricky password. My internet explorer has been really lousy these days, because it wont play videos and the window turns unfixably black every while (im on my emergency google chrome) and i dont know if those two things could be related. I also scanned my laptop and found nothing. My questions are:
1. Is my router being hacked? it has a password, but I’ve hear hackers can get past it. If this was the case, what could i do to catch whatever device is connected to my router? What could I do to stop it and improve my security?
2. Is this somehow related to the internet explorer thing? could it be a virus?
I seriously need help, guys. I mean 9KPBS OR EVEN LESS. Please only serious answers

Firstly there is always a possibility you can be hacked. IF you know how to set up a password for your WiFi i believe you can do the following too.
Try to access the router using a LAN cable. Just to be safe so that your WiFi is not being eavesdropped. Next set your WiFi to SSID broadcast to off or disabled, so that others cannot find the network and it will not broadcast its name. Only you will know the name of the network and the password.
Next go to your computer and see “unnamed network” choose that, it will prompt you for a password and username enter the username and password for your network. This will help deter WiFi thieves.
That said, if the issue is persistent try calling your ISP and enquire about download limits placed. You might have exceeded your download limit. Hope this helps.
something can be messed up with the windows registry for your internet settings, or you may have downloaded adware,I would save all my important stuff to a hard drive and reinstall windows. then get a good router like netgear and configure it with a strong password,
get better service
You call 567 kbps fast? That’s a high speed dialup!
