My Netbook Operates With Windows 7 Basic And Uses Avg Free Security And I Can No Longer Open Individual Emails?

This only happened recently and once highlighted on the net-book the same email shows as read on my main pc with 7 home premium .
Can anyone help please ?

    I think, I may be completely wrong with this, but I think that your computer needs general upgrading. When was the last time you upgraded/updated your computer? The answer could lie within the question that I have asked.

    You might have POP forwarding enabled which means that any emails received on netbook are forwarded to PC. Usually this only applies to phones but, perhaps, you misineterpreted the POP forwarding and had emails set to PC instead otherwise, there is an option in email options to forward emails to another account and you only access that account on the PC.

    Try turning off AVG and see if your emails are OK.
    AVG has an email check that can go wrong sometimes.
