   First, this is America. We Americans have freedom of speech rights. Which means YOU don’t get to tell ANYONE what they can or can’t say on this forum. If you want to live in a country where people can be told what to say. Move to MESSYco.
   Second, I agree with the point of your question though. It is ridiculous that Americans don’t defend their countries borders.

   I have nothing against people coming to the United States legally.
   I have problems when they come here illegal.
   My Family is from northern Italy,and when the arrived in the USA they had to get cheked from a doctor.
   My opion is that is why the USA is having so many more out bbreaks of different medical condition.

   Sorry guy, I don’t agree with you and no my mind is not warped. The fact that I was an illegal immigrant when my parents brought me here as an infant but now a citizen with a graduate school education does not allow me to see things your way. Also, I have extensively studied the history of US/Latin America relations with an emphasis on Mexico which has made me understand that this issue is far from being black and white.
   No worries, I understand what a criminal is but an illegal immigrant is no such criminal. That is something that life has taught me and not grade school, so kudos for you for going to such a school. As far as grad school goes, what i learned there was to think for myself and to put in the work to find out the facts for myself instead of being told what they are. Perhaps I can enlighten you a bit about how the U.S has had a hand in how the economies of several Latin American countries developed in such a way because of direct U.S intervention and in turn caused much of the poverty there is today. You reap what you sow. Oh, and I really like the personal attack on the integrity of my education, very civil of you.

   I agree, but I don’t think they can get welfare payments or rent subsidies until they get amnestied. Yeah I know, they have fake IDs to get this, but legally they can’t. Also, they can’t get get food stamps unless legal residents. They get referred to churches and food banks instead. After they get amnestied (rewarded for breaking the law) they then also become eligible to receive SSI payments. Liberals actually believe we should pay for this, and import more impoverished people who leach off of us. They could not sustain their party if they didn’t.

   I think it’s absolutely messed up how they can just cross over here, commit crimes, and then get all these benefits because the politicians in office just hand those out to them. They actually treat these illegal immigrants better than they treat their own constituents. The thing is, the politicians don’t care. All they care about is staying in power – which is why they are promoting this “amnesty” crap. Because once they grant the illegals amnesty, they can vote for the politicians to stay in office. Which means getting rid of the politicians will be EVEN harder than EVER before. Epecially if they can grant 15 to 20 million illegal immigrants at a time. It’s about the votes, and it’s all about staying in power.
   In this case, and ONLY in this case, would I agree to having a law like the ones in those other countries you’ve listed. Illegals, and especially the ones that commit crimes and kill our own people, should not be able to get a free pass into this country. They don’t deserve it. And they sure as heck didn’t earn it.

   The Illegal Alien problem is the result of over 30 years of failure, by both parties, to enforce existing Federal Immigration Laws PERIOD. Enforcement of current Law is the duty of all Law Enforcement Agencies, Local, State and Federal. NO Agency, No Politician and Certainly not the Federal Government has the right to ignore the “Law of the Land” because it may be unpopular or doesn’t meet their political goals. IF the Federal Law is wrong it is wrong because both parties have ignored the problem for over 30 years. IF the Federal Law continues to be wrong it is because Obama has ignored it for the past 1 1/2 years. Political and moral cowardice on the part of both parties have put our Nation where it is now. Sheriff Joe has the guts to enforce existing Laws.
   1. First and foremost Secure the Borders.
   2. Remove all financial incentatives; For both employeers & Illegal Aliens
   a. Prosecute employers of Illegal Aliens and deny them access to Federal Contracts or Funding, close employing facility for 60 days and do not permit reopening until all employees status is verified..
   b.Require “E” Verify to hire an employee
   c. Enforce all curtain Federal Immigration laws, across the board, without exzemption until or when the current Law is Changed.
   d. No “Entitlements” to Illegal Aliens: NO Welfare, NO Foodstamps, NO Section 8 Housing, NO Free Education at any level, NO Free medical Care other than neccessary for immediate life threatening emergency care: NO Entitlements paid in full or part by Federal, State or local Taxes…Period.
   e. Establish “Immigartion Courts” similar to “Drug Courts” found in many inner cities, to expedidite processing and deportation of Illegal Aliens.
   3. Proposed changes to Immigration Law, Identify all Illegal Aliens:
   a. Illegal Aliens with Criminal Records are deported.
   b. Illegal Aliens with no Criminal Records are granted TEMPORARY Residency for 5 years during which they must comply with all Legal immigration requirements.
   4.Failure to complete Legal Immigration Requirements within 5 years means immediate deportation.
   5. Illegal Aliens that meet the 5 year requirement may be granted PERMANENT RESIDENT Status. Gives them all legal rights EXCEPT the Right to Vote.
   6. Illegal Aliens will NEVER be granted U.S. Citizenship – that is the price they pay for violating our Laws and illegally entering our Country.
   7. We have numerous Laws preventing people from profiting from criminal activity. Under these Laws it should be illegal for the children to gain Citizenship by virtual of their parents criminal act: i.e. If the parents entered the USA illegally, then their children are Illegal Aliens and NOT U.S. Citizens, regardless of the fact they were born within the U.S. The 14th Amendment states: “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” “Subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is the key phrase; Children born to foreign Diplomats that are in the U.S. and are born in the U.S. are not granted citizenship due to their Legal Status, the same should apply to the children of Illegal Aliens due to their legal status. No Constitutional Amendment required, just the guts to enforce the current laws.
   8. Establish a workable Guest Worker program.
   9. Streamline Immigration Application Processing, the Canadians have a very effective program that could serve as a model.
   this above is what 80% of americans belive and one day it will happen..just a matter of time.
   and to those who say what about the jobs americans dont do…heres your answer…up until illegal took the jobs the were done by high school kids,college kids,people needing 2nd or part time jobs…now they are suffering and doing without and thats the shame here americans born here suffering due to this mess.
