It seems the U.S. has a new tactic in winning the war on terror: Completely and utterly surrender everything you ever stood for (ie 4th amendment, 5th amendment, 2nd amendment, 6th amendment etc.).
Americans were told that the terrorists “hate us for our freedom”. Solution: Take your own freedoms away.
So since Americans have OBVIOUSLY conceded a win to the terrorists (otherwise why would the U.S. congress take away rights from U.S. citizens in the name of “security“), then why not cut down on some of this military spending?
I mean it’s not like you’re fighting for the Constitution or liberty anymore. So what’s the point?http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-…

Yea! And we were attacked on 9/11……….. Because we were a “democracy”! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sad state of affairs, ain’t it?
At somepoint the military will cross the Rubicon to quell the private sector, when the politicians feel threatned. It’s scary how close this country is following in Rome’s footsteps.
The Delaration of Independence was written to defend “we the people” from the federal government, which was created by the “states”.
Now they are possibly passing a bill that will allow american citizens to be held without due process!
Actually, the terrorist plan has more to do with luring us into a number of expensive and exhausting wars, thereby bankrupting the country. The trampling of civil liberties is just a happy byproduct.
Wish people would make up their minds.Stay there and we’re warmongering imperialists, leave and we’re giving up.
Bad move to cut back on military, still have enemies whether we’re in Iraq or not.Read the news once in awhile.
This is not the United States that I fought as a Marine for, sadly…
Americans are absolutely consumed by fear. This will never be a proud nation again, as long as that remains the case.
i think the military industrial complex could care less about freedom
they are still busy framing half-wits in their fake war on terror

We have to fund the Republican Patriot Act here at home.
