I’m having some problems with my computer. I had an XP Security rogue on my computer, which I was able to remove with AVG. But now, I’m having a problem where I cant get into my .exe programs. When I click onto my desktop icons, I get the box that says “choose the program to open this file”, instead of it going straight to the program. Also when I try to open an application(ie sound, security, help…etc) in the control panel,an error screen that says “application not found”
I tried to download a free pc repair download and I got that “choose the program to open this file”
window. Is there a way to fix this?
