Trouble With Windows 8 Sound.?

By Networking Security Posted in: pc security

Hi-
I’ve recently installed Windows 8 Developer Preview on a spare PC. However, I have no sound. When I try to run Windows Audio in Services.msc, I get the error message: Error 1297: A privilege that the service requires to function properly does not exist in the service account configuration. You may use the Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in (services.msc) and the Local Security Settings MMC snap-in (secpol.msc) to view the service configuration and the account configuration. Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks!

Sorry kid but that version is still under development. It’s still not a finished product. What you get is what you get. If you don’t want to have problems, stop volunteering yourself as a tester and just wait for the final release.
