This is undergrad only. I am going to a state school. I want to know how much money I can expect to make starting off and what it likely tops out at? I also want to take into consideration that I want job security. I also want to get hired after graduation without having to wait tables for two years after school. In addition, I would like to have a job that I can work almost anywhere if I decide that I want to pick-up and move.
I realize that this is a tough question. I have an A average in school and feel that I can major in just about anything. I’m primarily asking this to see what the best options are if I choose not to go to grad school.
Thanks for your time!

Accountants start off making pretty good money and you can be an accountant anywhere. The same is true for engineers. Mechanical engineers make some good coin and the positions often lead to plant manager, director of operations, and chief operating officer.
Good luck.
