    You got a nice system I tell you, regarding playing sims 2 ,compatibility is always an issue with new operating systems, and Windows 7 is no exception. So better watch out, next is that Norton trail version, don’t uninstall it from Add or Remove method, it will cause malfunctioning of your OS, remove it (if you like), by using Norton web help OK.

    Yes it will, System Requirement are:
    800 MHz processor
    256 MB RAM if Windows XP
    128 MB RAM if Windows 98, Windows ME, or Windows 2000
    At least 3.5 gigs of free hard drive space

    Yes that laptop will run sims 2 and sims 3 you see sims doesn’t need a very good PC to play on.
    Also why are the other 2 answers thumbed down? they are correct.

    Minimum reuirements for it are
    If you have a T&L capable video card with at least 32 MB of video RAM then you need at least:
    800 MHz processor or better
    256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98 or Windows 2000
    At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space
    If you have a non-T&L capable video card (an Intel Extreme Graphics or a Radeon 7000/VE Series) then you need at least:
    2.0 GHz processor or better
    256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98, or Windows 2000
    At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space
